I am addicted to couponing!
I am utterly amazed at how addicted I truly am. I vowed to not go to Albertson's at all this week, I sent my mom with exact instructions once, went once myself and plan to go again. I do have to say in my defense, I have made some pretty fantastic deals! I will try and unearth my camera this week and take pictures of my wonderful hauls. To think it all started not long ago from one little blog post by my friend Lacey..my food storage thanks you very much! I now have acquired enough free toothpaste to last a very long time, I will probably acquire more so I will have lot's to donate as well, it's truly amazing!

Have you ever?
I got home from WinCo and just had to tell the tale.
I was looking at my coupons and noticed that I had several coupons expiring mid-month, well I usually go to WinCo with all my soon-to-expire coupons and see if I can use the coupons for any good deals, usually I cannot because coupons are often for newly released and exciting items, and well...WinCo doesn't carry alot of new and exciting items. However on this day, I was finding fabulous deals left and right!( Ranch dressing-.48 cents a bottle, Softsoap-.48 cents a bottle--that's just two of the best deals) I was so very excited about my treasures, then it is time to check-out, I always feel nervous when it comes to this part, I don't know why but I always think the person behind me is thinking" OH GEEZ! COUPONS..really lady get out of my way", or some other version of great vexation. The kindly cashier rings up my groceries and is scanning my coupons, he completes this and then an audible"Oh wow" emits, I look at him with what I am sure is a very troubled face, he then picks up his phone and calls for a manager. My heart and mind are racing, "What did I do? I think I did everything right! Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear" then the manager comes over, smiles, puts in his little key and enters the magical code so that I may pay. It seems that I saved so much money with my coupons it needed manager approval! I wanted the floor to swallow me but it did not. A friendly gentleman behind me wasn't even put out, he just exclaimed"You saved too much money you broke the machine!" I quickly bagged my haul and got out of there, but never before had I needed manager approval for my savings!
